Position Summary:
As a Member of the Blake’s Lotaburger Facilities team, The Landscaping Technician will provide a variety of repairs/cleaning at the Blake’s Lotaburger stores to ensure locations are welcoming and inviting to our guests. The Landscaping Tech will be responsible for basic landscaping including mowing lawns, weed removal, parking lot cleaning, parking lot striping, power washing sidewalks and dumpster areas, and assisting in any general repairs to sparklers and water drip systems.  Landscaping Tech will also help in areas of general store repairs and painting of interior lobby and kitchens. The Landscaping tech will report to the Maintenance Supervisor.              

Essential Functions: 

·         Weed removal, tree trimming, empty lot and grass mowing
·         Parking lot cleaning, lot striping and fire lane painting
·         Power washing sidewalks and dumpster areas
·         Assist in any general repairs to sparklers and water drip systems.  
·         Diagnoses problems and failures to water lines 
·         Replace sod and rocks if needed
·         Gutter cleaning
·         Completed work orders for purpose of providing information to stores for future decision making
·         Professional and positive attitude
·         Customer service skills
·         Work on a ladder if needed
·         Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements (Education/Training/Experience/Abilities):
·         Must exemplify Blake’s Core Values: KIND, TEAM, PASSION, PROCESS 

·         Must be professional and have a positive attitude with customer service skills
·         Must be able to work 40 hours a week (6:00am-4:30pm Monday – Thursday)
·         Must have problem-solving abilities 
·         Follows all company policies, safety requirements, and company SOP’s 
·         Must be able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
·         Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally, with team members and leadership
·         Must be able to collaborate cross-departmentally and respond well to feedback
·         Must be organized, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining quality standards
·         Complete MVR check and operate motor vehicles
·         Operation of power equipment and tools

Essential Physical/Emotional Requirements: 

·         Must be able to stand, sit, climb, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time
Must be ability move/lift up to 50lbs unassisted
·         Must be able to use hands and fingers to feel, handle or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms
·         Must have specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
·         Must be able to talk and hear with ability to handle difficult and/or sensitive situations using tactful, appropriate, and effective communication
·         Must be able to work within store, shop and, exposure to weather conditions
